Once again, it’s time for the October VO character voices challenge. This year, we return to the characters featured in last year’s video — which was inspired by the Halloween decorations hanging on my door — but this year, a new character appears…
I created this project as part of VO Coach Domingo Castillo’s monthly challenges. For this month, just like last year, we were asked to record a character voice and add music and sound effects. For this project, I wrote and recorded the script of the characters talking, sang the Dies Irae verses and mixed them with music, and reused the recordings of ice cubes clinking in the glass from last year’s video. I edited it all together and then created the video using Canva.
